So much more than a city
Mestre is a charming medieval city located in northern Italy in front of the Venetian lagoon,
on the border with Venice (linked by the famous Liberty bridge).
Mestre is famous for its historical city center, its many parks and forts,
but also for being a central point for visiting daily many top places of Northern Italy,
from the seaside of the Adriatic Sea to the lakes (Garda in particular) and the mountains
(the World Heritage Dolomiti), from Venice to Trieste or Verona, from Prosecco Hills to Valpolicella
(the hills where Amarone is produced).
